Friday - August 22nd - "Trap Shooting"-
Meet at Clemson Church of Christ at 7:30 am. We will head to 1239 Ruckersville Rd. Elberton Ga. (The Elbertoon County Gun Club). We should be back around noon. Bring eye and ear protection if you have it. Rick says, I have a couple of extras but may not have enough depending on how many want to go. Also, odds are that not everyone will be shooting at the same time. As David can attest to, it is a fairly low key environment and the guys are very accommodating and helpful. I also have a few extra guns if someone need that as well. Typically a 12 Gauge is used but other shotguns can be used. Let Rick know if you are planning on going.
Break action(double or single barrel) are usually used but pump action and semi-auto are used as well but their action MUST be open until it is their turn to shoot.
Each round of targets requires 25 shells which can be purchased at the clubhouse.
Rick will pay for the targets.
Rick will also have an extra shooting vest and a few shell pouches for the ammo.
Informational videos can be found on YouTube. And are very helpful in explaining the rules and how things work on the line.
